During December 2019 Ridgeway provided its valued client modified 2T filter unit rockbags for bridge pier scour protection. The SOW’s involved 2 phases: removal of original filter units and inspection of the bridge foundations for additional scour. The second phase involved installing more filter units to provide additional scour protection over the winter period.
During summer 2019 the original filter unit rockbagss installed over the last 7 years were removed, all 60 units recovered were in good condition and could be redeployed. After further surveys of the filter unit locations our client was instructed to install more to see out the winter period. This is an ongoing project but we are happy that the filter units are performing as expected.
